We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis (2 days per week). This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is confident working in a busy office environment and enjoys supporting a wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities:o Processing supplier invoices and customer invoices
Credit card reconciliationso
Preparing and submitting VAT returnso
Handling CIS monthly returnso Assisting with year-end accounts preparationo
Supporting the Operations Team with: Purchase orders, applying correct nominal codes, resolving payment querieso Speaking to customers regarding their accounts and outstanding balanceso
Maintaining accurate financial records using SAGE 50 Accounts
Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounts software
Experience with VAT, CIS, and credit card reconciliation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
A proactive approach and willingness to assist colleagues across departments
Working Hours:o2 days per week (specific days negotiable)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 19.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
