Part-Time Bookkeeper - QuickBooks Online Expert

Location:

Remote or hybrid (occasional visits to Mexborough, if required)

Hours:

Approx. 10-15 hours per month

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented

bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online experience

to support our business on a part-time basis. The role involves weekly bookkeeping, monthly stock input, and managing creditors and debtors within QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

Weekly Bookkeeping (approx. 2 hrs/week):

Reconcile bank accounts Categorise and match transactions Keep QuickBooks records fully up to date Maintain and refine the chart of accounts as needed

Monthly Stock Input (approx. 4 hrs/month):

Input and manage stock data (figures provided) Assist with monthly stock valuation summaries

Creditors & Debtors (approx. 4 hrs/month):

Record supplier invoices and payments Maintain debtor records and customer receipts Support with cash flow tracking

Requirements

Proven experience using

QuickBooks Online

confidently and independently Good understanding of bookkeeping and account categorisation High attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, consistent communication Experience in automotive or retail sectors is a bonus, but not essential

Objective

To ensure that accurate financial records are maintained weekly, and that by the end of each month we have a clear view of costs and performance--including spend breakdowns (e.g. tyres, parts, etc.). There may be some initial setup work to refine the QuickBooks structure and chart of accounts.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 4 per week
