We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software is essential for this role, as you will be using Sage to perform your duties efficiently.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organisation.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Prepare monthly financial reports.
General administrative support needed
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
Proficiency in accounting software Sage 50 is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
