We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in Sage accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Duties
Monthly Payroll
Importing customer invoices from MIS to Sage
Posting supplier invoices onto Sage
Bank Reconciliation
Sending information to Factoring Company to draw down cash
VAT Returns
Compiling management and year end accounts including submission to HMRC & Companies House
Credit control
Ad hoc wider accounts duties.
Qualifications
AAT preferred but must have experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
