A small cleaning chemicals company based in Sheffield, S9, is seeking a detailed, independent bookkeeper on a part-time basis. A standard week will be 14-21 hours depending on requirements.
The minimum requirements for this role include experience of Sage 50 Accounts and experience working in small working environment.
The role responsibilities include:
Balancing accounts
Bank reconciliations
Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
Completing VAT returns
Supplier reconciliations
Keeping organised and working to our bookkeeping system
Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
Assisting with payroll and pension submissions
Generating ad-hoc reports when requested by management
You'll also help prepare the profit and loss sheets for the annual accounts as required by the company accountant and assist with other administrative tasks when necessary.
Part-time hours can be flexible around other commitments, however we would require the hours to be split over 2 or 3 days and for the days to be reasonably consistent.
