As a small but quickly growing ambitious accountancy practice, we are searching for a part time Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant.
The bookkeeper/accounts assistant will be responsible for managing the day to day financial transactions across wide ranging portfolio of clients
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Reconcile bank statements
Prepare VAT returns for review
Liaising with clients and their customers and suppliers
Help to maintain and grow existing client relationships
Supporting with ad hoc tasks
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
