Part time role - Monday to Friday - 9.00 am to 2.00 pm - Bookkeeper required!

Your role
As our bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations. You will play a vital part in supporting management with timely financial reporting and analysis, across different business owed by our Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations
Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable
Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with payroll processing
Support the production of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Liaise with external accountants and assist with end-of-year audits
Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Manage the cashing up/banking process for all cash takings
Overseeing change requirements/floats etc
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Banking and credit card reconciliation

We're looking for someone who:
Has proven experience in a bookkeeping or finance assistant role
Is proficient in Quickbooks accounting software
Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Possesses a good understanding of UK accounting standards and VAT
Can work independently and meet deadlines reliably
Is flexible, trustworthy, and maintains confidentiality at all times
