The Role
As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day bookkeeping, working closely with clients and HMRC to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Manage purchase and sales ledgers (invoices, credit notes, bills)
Input data from manual records (bank statements, invoices)
Perform bank reconciliations
Liaise with clients and HMRC regarding queries
Process client payroll accurately and on time
Assist clients with bookkeeping queries and missing information
Set up and support QBO accounts; provide training if needed
Maintain organised and accurate records
Provide ad-hoc support as required
What We're Looking For

Professional, trustworthy, and discreet
Experience with QBO and/or Xero is a plus, but training can be provided.
