We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised finance professional to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health of our organisation and will involve working closely with various departments to facilitate smooth financial operations.
Duties
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with UK accounting principles.
Prepare quarterly VAT returns from client records and data
understand the principals of PAYE and payroll processing and be confident in communicating this to clients
knowledges of income tax and corporate tax and advantage
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools to streamline processes.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, IRIS or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of UK accounting principles,
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various cliets and staff..`
