Bookkeeper Sheffield Part time \xe2\x80\x93 19 hours over 2.5 Days (Hybrid) Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be recruiting for a Bookkeeper for a large, manufacturing company in Sheffield. This role is joining a well-established, yet small finance team and will be reporting into the Payroll Manager. Key responsibilities

  • Full Payroll runs, including SMP, SSP, HMRC deductions
  • New starter process
  • Leavers process
  • Year end, P11Ds, HMRC payments
  • Weekly and daily Bank Reconciliation
  • Payment Runs
  • Budgeting and cash flow forecasts
  • Month end procedure to include Deferred Income spread sheet and journals (accruals & Prepayments).
  • Purchase ledger
  • Credit control / sales ledger
  • Vat Returns
  • Management of DLA
  • Directors Tax
  • Liaise and support the Account Managers in chasing debt
  • Ensure expenses claims are received from all Directors and Account Managers and follow up accordingly
  • Commission payment analysis
  • Ad hoc duties including petty cash and other office administration tasks
To be successful considered for this role, you will bring the following experience / skills:
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience using SAGE
  • Have recently been running the full payroll process from start to end
