reliable and adaptable part-time accounting professional

to oversee our financial systems and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, handle day-to-day bookkeeping Manage and submit

VAT returns

,

PAYE

, and all relevant

HMRC filings

Run

payroll

and ensure compliance with statutory obligations Prepare and

file full company accounts

in coordination with external accountants Produce financial reports for internal use and assist with budgeting and forecasting Ensure timely invoicing and payment tracking Guide the business with good cash flow forecast and plan the business tax system and growth potential
What You'll Need:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accountancy, ideally within a small business setting In-depth knowledge of the

PAYE system

,

payroll procedures

, and

filing full accounts

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail The ability to work independently and adapt as the business grows Passion to help the business grow with detailed forecasting, tax planning and be willing to adapt when needed to suit the business needs. Some HR skills and knowledge regarding compliance and regulations
