We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive bookkeeper/accountant to join our team on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records (mainly purchase ledger).
Key responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including bank and ledger reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices
Chase outstanding payments to maintain a healthy cashflow
Handling client and supplier queries via email and telephone
Assist with VAT returns
Process expense claims
Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts
As workload dictates other responsibilities may include
Preparing and processing pay runs
Pay roll and pension contributions
Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
Requirements
Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping and managing the finance (2 years minimum)
AAT Level 3 qualification
Proficiency in accounting software - Xero
Knowledge of Workflow Max Software (desirable)
Strond understanding of accounts payable processes
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Good Communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels
Honest, trustworthy with integrity
Pay will be dependant on experience
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
