We're looking for a capable, forward-thinking

Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant

to grow with us as we build a new generation of high-performing finance teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working with businesses that are scaling up rapidly. Looking for someone who wants to work up to full time in the very near future - not someone building up their own portfolio of bookkeeping clients.

The Role

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple businesses using

Xero

. Process purchase and sales invoices, reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Assist with payroll data, supplier payments, and intercompany transactions. Support stock, production, and storage invoicing (training provided). Prepare and maintain AP/AR listings and assist with month-end reconciliations. Help integrate finance data between operations, systems, and reporting packs.

About You

3+ years' bookkeeping experience (Xero essential). Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple entities. AAT Level 3+ or part-qualified accountant preferred. Proactive and ambitious -- keen to grow with a modern accounting start-up and get in early with a view to becoming senior. Comfortable with learning new technology and software - eager to automate processes and move quickly.
