We are looking for experienced Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our busy team.
The role of Bookkeeper is to record all company spending, including purchases, invoices and sales and provide accurate information on company outgoings for the purposes of filing accounts.
The role of an Administrator is to sort the post, answer the phones, order office stationery supplies, greet clients, file documents, manage diaries etc.
Key responsibilities:
Time recording and preparation of bills
Quantifying legal costs of Court disputes relating to civil, family, and criminal law as funded by the LAA.
Submitting claims to LAA on CCMS and other Legal Aid billing platforms
Respond to LAA and Opponents enquiries on bills submitted
Basic office administrative work
Assisting fee earners with legal aid applications
Manages correspondence by sorting posts(letters) and emails
Preparation and submitting of client's bill
Good knowledge of CCMS
Ensure the firm's KPI is always maintained
Ensure the firm recovers the maximum fixed/hourly rate fees
Dealing with bills in an expeditious and efficient manner
Photocopying, scanning, note taking, filing
Booking keeping including maintaining and verifying accounts
Familiar with the use of office case management system -
