Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper - Accountancy Firm - Prescot/St Helens Area
We are working with our client who are looking recruit an experienced Bookkeeper.
Ideally the candidate will have 2 years experience of working in an Accountancy Firm but industry applicants are encouraged to apply. The AAT qualification would be an advantage but not a requirement.
Duties
Preparing VAT returns
Resolve client VAT queries
Preparation of Accounts
Posting invoices onto software
Reconciling bank on software
VAT administration
Assisting clients in the use of various software packages
Previous experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Kashflow and office management software like Microsoft Office (namely Word & Excel)
Strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
