Overview



We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Bookkeeper & Stock/Inventory Entry Keeper

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible not only for maintaining accurate financial records but also for ensuring all stock and inventory data is recorded, updated, and reconciled on time. This role is suitable for individuals who are organised, proactive, and have strong numerical and analytical skills.

A high level of proficiency in

MS Excel and MS Office

is essential, along with experience using recognised accounting and inventory management software.

ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping Duties



Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of invoices. Assist with accounts receivable, including raising invoices and tracking payments. Reconcile bank statements and assist with financial reporting as required. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Collaborate with external accountants during audits and financial reviews. Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations. Organise and maintain financial documentation for easy access and reference.

Stock & Inventory Management Duties



Record all stock movements, including incoming shipments, production usage, and outgoing stock. Maintain accurate stock and inventory databases and ensure entries are updated daily. Perform regular stock level checks and reconcile physical stock with system records. Assist in conducting monthly, quarterly, or annual stock counts. Flag discrepancies, shortages, or stock-related issues and report them to management. Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, and usage analysis as needed. Coordinate with warehouse or operations staff to ensure smooth stock tracking and documentation. Monitor product batches, expiry dates, and damaged or returned items where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements



Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, Inventory Controller, or similar role.

Excellent command of MS Excel and MS Office (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, spreadsheets, reporting, etc.).

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Experience with stock/inventory management systems or databases is highly desirable. Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger principles. Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or business are advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
