We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed efficiently. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Duties

Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to manage financial data effectively. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
