Overview


We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and requires proficiency in accounting software.

Duties



Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately. Prepare financial reports as required, providing insights into the company's financial status. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping. Utilise accounting software , Xero, to manage financial data efficiently.

Experience



Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field is essential. (2 years or more) Familiarity with accounts payable processes is required. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are a must. Excellent numerical skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficient in

Xero

and

Excel

Strong understanding of

UK payroll legislation

Knowledge of

Stripe

payment systems (preferred but not essential)

Qualifications



AAT qualified
