We manufacture all machines at our factory in Leeming Bar. The company has over 50 years of trading and during this time we have gathered a large customer base.
Job Summary
We are looking for a new member of the team to fit into our bookkeeper/office admin role which include the following:
Monthly set of accounts reports
Bank reconciliation
Submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC
Record keeping
Monitoring of customer accounts to include invoices and payment chasing
Monitoring of supplier account to include payment of invoices
Manage incoming phone calls
Preparing postage labels for outgoing parcels
Processing customer machine and spares orders
Support the purchasing department
General office administration and organisation
Maintaining filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all documents are organised and easily accessible.
Experience
A solid working knowledge or SAGE is essential
Proven experience as an Bookkeeper or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
The job requires 24 hours per week, to be split evenly over Tuesday/Thursday and Friday. Working day is 8.30 - 17.00 with 30 minute lunch. Days of the week are flexible and open to discussion.

Pay is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
