Bookkeeper & Property Administrator

Finance & Bookkeeping
Support preparation of monthly management accounts.
Reconcile the business bank with incoming/outgoing rent, supplier receipts, and invoices.
Check and input supplier invoices, prepare supplier payments, and chase missing paperwork.
Carry out monthly audits of direct debits, standing orders, and general expenditure.
Update rent received lists and produce monthly landlord statements.
Write to clients regarding arrears and consolidate debt if required.
File bank statements, cheque requisitions, invoices, and related documents.
Property & Administration
Work closely with the property management department on day-to-day operations.
Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors by phone and email.
Assist with tenancy correspondence, renewals, and inspections as needed.
Provide general administrative support to the Director and wider team.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
Strong knowledge of Excel & Word (property/accounting software experience desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Organised, reliable, and comfortable handling multiple tasks.
Professional yet approachable communication style.
Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning and taking on variety.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
