Edinburgh Whisky is an independent bottler and blender established in 2013. Based in the heart of Leith, we are the creators of several award-winning spirit brands that are sold across the globe.

We are looking for a full time Bottling Team Lead to join us at our cask maturation warehouse in Glenrothes. On the job training and career progression will be forthcoming as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and management of all bottling tasks. Accurate record keeping when performing bottling operations To maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives Maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements Filling, labelling, capping of all bottles, ensuring spirit quality, compliance and integrity are at the forefront of every decision Stock management and rotation of bottled & dry goods Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement Responsible for the management of dry goods & bottled goods incoming and out Responsible for completion of bottling records. Maintaning stock levels of all sundries for the warehouse.

Skillset

Technical and hands-on practical ability Physically fit and able to manually handle full casks Relevant forklift experience is preferable Experience with alcoholic drinks bottling. Self-motivated - ability to remain motivated when working by themselves Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems Ability to cope with change in a growing business Ability to plan and lead a small team.

Personal Requirements

Experience in a spirits bottling environment Experience working logistically or manually with spirits is preferred UK Driver's license Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Communicate effectively across business using a variety of communication mediums

Pay: 28,500.00-30,000.00 per year
