Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Boxing Coach to join our team. Must have level 2 England Boxing Qualification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role requires an individual who can inspire, motivate, and guide participants in their sporting journey while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

With 32 days holiday and performance related bonus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes or teams. Educate athletes on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport. Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all participants are engaged and challenged. Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants. Organise and oversee competitions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fair play. Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and industry trends to enhance coaching effectiveness. Oversee the running of the amateur boxing club.

Experience

England Boxing level 2 Coaching Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including its rules, strategies, and training methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. A passion for mentoring young athletes and helping them achieve their goals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
