About the role



We are seeking an experienced and passionate Boys PE Teacher to deliver outstanding physical education across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A Level. This role is rooted in a commitment to pupil development and excellence in teaching, offering a broad and balanced PE curriculum that engages, supports and challenges every pupil. You will plan and teach inclusive, high-quality practical and theoretical lessons that promote physical literacy, confidence, healthy lifestyles and academic success. Using adaptive teaching strategies and rigorous assessment practices, you will address diverse learning needs, close progress gaps and inspire pupils to develop a lifelong love for physical activity. Your work will foster physical, social and emotional growth, while also supporting pupils to excel in sports performance and theoretical understanding. Beyond the classroom, you will organise and manage extracurricular opportunities, including sports clubs, inter-school fixtures and enrichment events. What we are looking for



We're seeking a highly experienced Boys PE Teacher with QTS and a degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. You will have a proven track record of delivering inclusive, differentiated PE lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A-Level, with expert knowledge of syllabus content, assessment frameworks and current educational pedagogy. You excel in planning and delivering both practical and theoretical lessons that engage all learners, including those with SEND, and are skilled in implementing targeted interventions to close achievement gaps. You bring strong experience in behaviour management, health and safety compliance and leading extracurricular sports activities, clubs, teams and fixtures. Your thorough understanding of child development and physical literacy allows you to inspire every pupil, including those less confident, to thrive physically, socially and emotionally.
