The BPO Payroll Administrator is responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll and outsourced administration services. Working as part of the BPO team, the role supports client requirements, ensures compliance with UK legislation, and contributes to maintaining service excellence.
Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Process payroll and administrative tasks accurately within agreed timescales and SLAs.
- Assist with data entry, data analysis and validation, and reconciliation activities
- Support the onboarding of new clients and service transitions
- Respond to queries from clients and employees, in a professional and timely manner
- Escalate complex issues to the BPO Team Leader where necessary
Personal Development
- Actively undertake commitment and progression to ensure skill set proficiencies are advanced, sharing of knowledge, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain quality standards across the payroll process
Payroll Compliance and Process Expertise
- Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation
- Understand the design of the solution that we are running to ensure that best practices are maintained in payroll management, taxation, and reporting
Client Engagement and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Maintain, promote and enhance customer relationships
- Contribute to process improvements, efficiency gains, and automation initiatives.
Product Development and Innovation
- Collaborate with product management to provide insights from running payroll services
- Suggest product enhancements and contribute to the development of new features
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in payroll processing
Compliance and Risk Management
- Stay current on payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory compliance
- Adhering to Information Security & ISO policies and processes.

Requirements
Full-time, 40 hours per week, shift pattern between 8am & 6pm
Office based - Langstone, Newport, Wales
Paid expenses outside your base location as per company policy
Standard Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including Disclosure Barring Scotland (DBS) is a minimum requirement for all roles. Security Clearance (SC) may also be required
