Brain Injury Support Worker
Location: Wotton-Under-Edge Hours: Mon, Tues & Wed - 10:30-13:30pm
Thurs - 08:30 -10:30am & 12:30 -14:30pm (taking client to appointments)
Additionally, our client requires telephone check ins 7 days a week at 9.30am, 6pm & 8.30pm This will require a five minute check in call to ask if meds have been taken only (Total of 1 hour 45 minutes per week).
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Due to role responsibilities, you must have a full UK driving licence and be willing to drive the client's car.
About the Client: Our client is in his 60s with a brain injury, following an injury at work. He has Epilepsy, which is well controlled, and he manages himself, as well as managing his own medication.
There are no clinical duties within this role and we are searching for a carer to take on a PA/Buddy role, supporting our client out in the community.
He enjoys fishing trips, so there may be ad-hoc additional hours for Support Workers to accompany him on 3-4 day trips.
