This is a rewarding opportunity for a brain injury support worker to provide one-on-one care at home and out in the community, helping the client maintain independence, safety, and quality of life. The client has a cat and two snakes, and the support worker will need to assist with caring for the animals. The successful candidate will be joining an established and experienced team of support workers and therapists who will provide training on how best to support the client.
Main duties of the job
The brain injury support worker will be responsible for supporting the client with daily routines, attending a local day centre, assisting with food shopping and meal preparation, supporting the client to attend rehabilitation therapies, and accompanying the client on social visits and activities. The support worker will need to be calm, kind, and attentive, with the ability to set clear boundaries consistently. Experience working with clients with complex needs and behaviors that can challenge is preferred.

Role - Support worker for 1:1 care - 48 hours per month minimum, plus additional leave cover. Week1 . Sunday wee3. Tuesday
Shift Pattern: 24-hour shifts . Staff en-suite bedroom provided.
Must have a full UK driving licence and be able to drive an automatic car (car is provided).
