Libertatem Healthcare Group is looking for a female support worker to work with a client in St. Austell, Cornwall who has complex needs including an acquired brain injury, partial blindness, neurofibromatosis, cognitive difficulties, and chronic fatigue. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with complex needs/brain injury, a full UK driving license, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the client and build a supportive relationship.
Main duties of the job
The support worker will be responsible for supporting and engaging with the client's personalized routines, including using hoists, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in St. Austell, Cornwall.
Our client is a lady in her 30's who has complex needs, including an acquired brain injury, partial blindness, neurofibromatosis, some cognitive difficulty and chronic fatigue. She lives at home with her partner and their dog (who is in guide dog training) and enjoys audiobooks, dog walks on the beach, going out for coffee and is developing an interest in extreme sports. They are also building a treatment room in the garden for physio and relaxation therapies.
Due to the client's support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs/brain injury, have a full UK driving licence, be flexible in approach and work with what then client states she needs support with and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.
Pay: 15.00 - 16.00 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week over three days (shift times vary due to the needs of the client)
