Team Leader
to manage a small team providing 24-hour live-in support for a young man in his mid-20s who has a brain injury. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team, ensure the highest quality of care, and make a profound difference in a client's life.
The Role
24 Hour Shifts 08:00 - 08:00
You will be the key point of contact for the client and the support team, responsible for the smooth and effective running of his care package. This role involves both hands-on support and management duties, including:
Leading and motivating
the support team, ensuring consistent and person-centred care.
Creating and managing staff rotas
, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
Providing direct, hands-on support for the client, including assistance with all daily living activities.
Driving the client
to appointments and social activities (a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential).
Liaising with the client's family, healthcare professionals, and case managers.
Conducting regular team meetings and providing ongoing supervision and support to staff.
Assessing, reviewing, and updating risk assessments and care plans.
Handling all administrative tasks, including timesheets and incident reports.
About Our Client
Our client is a young man in his mid-20s who is living independently in Nottingham. He is a huge fan of
Nottingham Forest
football and enjoys watching and talking about
cricket
. He loves socialising and getting out to pubs, and with the right support, would love to go clubbing. He requires a lot of motivation to engage with activities outside of his main interests, so a creative and encouraging approach is vital.
We're Looking for Someone With:
Proven experience
in a supervisory or leadership role within a care setting.
Experience working with individuals with a brain injury
or similar neurological conditions.
A valid
UK driving licence
and access to their own vehicle.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to manage a team with compassion and professionalism.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 409.89 per day
