In this role you will be supporting a gentleman with a brain injury who has complex needs and communication difficulties, within his own home and in the community. The role will include working alongside other support workers, family, management, and a team of private therapists to support the client's ongoing rehabilitation.
Personal care duties are essential in this role.
Our client has a great sense of humour and is a fun, outgoing, family orientated individual. You will be supporting him in his day-to-day activities, to participate in outings, events, and activities and to spend quality time with his family. At times, you will be required to support our client to go on holiday.
The ideal candidate for this role will be friendly, reliable, trustworthy, motivated, and be able to follow direction from colleagues and external professionals. It is essential that professional boundaries are always maintained as well as respect and dignity of the client.?
You will be required to follow the client-specific support plan and company policies during your duties.?
You will receive an induction, out-of-hours support, regular supervision, on-going professional development, and training.
