Due to continued growth, Lloyd & Jones are now offering a Branch Assistant position with our Wirral branch.
A varied role covering most aspects of the business, working together with a flexible team, in a busy branch.
An organised personality is required to undertake Goods In and Out functions at the branch as well as taking orders and resolving customer enquiries on the Trade Counter.
Along with supporting sales staff with telephone enquiries and delivering during busy periods.
You should be Computer literate to complete office-based duties.
An individual that is driven to assist the whole branch in this varied role, to help hit our monthly sales targets, and continue to grow.
This role will include any tasks that are needed in the daily operations of the branch.
Experience with an engineering background preferable.
The successful applicant must be able to work within a small sales and warehouse team, with the flexibility to offer support to all aspects of a busy and growing sales organisation.
Branch assistant role includes:
Building relationships with customers through excellent customer service.
Sales orientated.
Confident in dealing with customers both in person and over the phone.
Professional and good attitude required for working with both Trade customers and the General Public.
Dealing with the paperwork and the checking of goods, manual orders and invoices.
Resolving after sales issues that may arise in an appropriate manner.
Organising supplier returns and processing the return on our system and following up with the relevant supplier if necessary.
Assist with Goods In & Out, checking deliveries and collating orders.
Keeping the trade counter/showroom tidy and re-stocked at all times.
Performing any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required
Please note this role does require heavy lifting.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm & Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (45min lunch)
