Key Responsibilities:

As a Branch Assistant, your main duties will include:

Keeping up-to-date with company sales initiatives and promotions to assist customers effectively. Receiving, sorting, stacking, and storing goods for orders and deliveries. Accurately processing order requests and picking orders in a timely manner. Checking and packing orders for internal and external customers. Serving customers at the trade counter, adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols. Updating internal IT systems and using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word). Providing competitive quotations and following up on customer orders. Sourcing and ordering non-stocked items from other branches or suppliers. Professional communication with customers and suppliers via telephone. Undertaking driver duties if required. Adhering to health and safety guidelines, including PPE usage. Participating in relevant training programs. Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Assisting in other warehouse functions and processes.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A good standard of education, including proficiency in maths and English. Excellent telephone etiquette. Proven experience in a similar environment. A professional and customer-first approach. The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.

Full UK driving licence is required.
