Branch Manager - Plumbing & Heating

Location:

SE28, South East London

Salary:

40,000 - 50,000 per year

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

The Opportunity

We're opening a brand-new Electrical, Plumbing and heating supplies branch in South East London and are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead it from day one. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the trade, enjoys building relationships, and wants the chance to shape a branch and make it their own.

What You'll Be Doing

Taking full responsibility for setting up and running the new branch Building strong relationships with local Electricians, plumbers, heating engineers, and trade customers Driving sales by growing the customer base and delivering excellent service Managing stock, purchasing, and supplier relationships Leading, employing, motivating, and supporting a small team Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, including health & safety and compliance Developing strategies to establish the branch as a trusted, go-to supplier in the area
What We're Looking For

Previous experience managing a Electrical / Plumbing & heating merchant or trade counter branch Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach A proven ability to grow sales and manage branch performance Solid knowledge of Electrical / plumbing and heating products Someone proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership
