Summary:
We are recruiting an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager / Valuer to lead our Gosforth branch. The role offers a combination of operational management with professional valuation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the branch while delivering accurate, insightful valuations to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of branch operations including staffing, budgeting, and customer service.
Lead, motivate, and develop the branch team to achieve targets and maintain high standards.
Conduct property valuations, assessments, and market analysis in line with industry standards and company policy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and company guidelines.
Prepare detailed valuation reports and documentation with accuracy.
Drive business growth through new client acquisition and retention strategies.
Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy
Represent the company positively in the local community.
Person Specification / Competencies
:
Proven experience in branch management, ideally within the property or valuation sector.
Professional qualification in property valuation (e.g. RICS) highly desirable
Strong knowledge of the local Gosforth property market and surrounding areas
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and report-writing abilities
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
Proficient in relevant software and IT systems
