Beers Timber & Building Supplies Ltd, is along established independent Merchant, offering general timber and building supplies to both the trade and the general public alike, throughout Merseyside, Warrington, Wirral, Manchester and the North-West area as a whole.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Branch Manager, based within our MBS Plumbing & Heating depot in Warrington.

With excellent Plumbing and Heating knowledge, you will have experience in a similar role.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products, have good communication skills and strong self-discipline, along with the ability to work individually as well as in a team.

A good knowledge of hand tools and power tools would be an advantage.

Sales skills are imperative for this position, including knowledge of the local customer base.

Responsibilities & Duties

Day to day management of the Store

Meeting targets and generating growth

Counter Sales to tradesmen and general public

Telephone Sales

Site visits

Ordering stock

Stock control

Cash Handling

Organising customer deliveries

Required Experience

Good knowledge of plumbing and heating products

Good knowledge of local customers

Excellent Customer service skills

Good computer skills

Attention to detail

Strong organisational skills

Self-motivation and positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise

Excellent Management skills

Full Driving Licence

Hours of work:

7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday - 1 in 2 Saturday's 8.00am to 12.30pm.
