Your Mission



As Brand and Communications Manager, you will:

Lead the development and execution of a national communications strategy

that aligns with our mission and values, ensuring consistency across all channels and audiences.

Shape and protect the brand narrative

, ensuring our tone of voice reflects our commitment to compassion, professionalism, and excellence.

Act as the brand guardian

, overseeing all internal and external communications, from press releases and social media to award submissions and executive speeches.

Drive proactive media relations

, securing positive coverage in national and regional outlets, and building strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and stakeholders.

Lead crisis communications

, acting as the primary contact for media responses and supporting the leadership team with timely, transparent messaging.

Coach and support franchisees

with local PR, communication processes, media training, and brand alignment, ensuring consistency across our UK network.

Mentor and manage a high-performing creative and copy team

, fostering innovation and accountability.

Use data and insight

to evaluate campaign performance, refine messaging, and inform strategic decisions.

Champion internal communications

, ensuring our people feel informed, inspired, and connected to our purpose.

What You'll Bring



A degree or professional qualification in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field 3-5 years' experience in a senior communications or PR role, ideally within a values-led or regulated sector Proven ability to craft compelling, multi-layered messaging that resonates with diverse audiences Strong media network and experience managing high-profile press opportunities Expertise in crisis communications, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement A confident, adaptable writer with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for storytelling A strategic thinker who thrives under pressure and leads with empathy and clarity Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams

This role requires a minimum of three days per week in our office to support and collaborate with the team. Occasional travel across our UK franchise network is required for workshops, coaching, and events. Travel and accommodation will be fully expensed.
