Job Title: Brand & Design Coordinator



Location: London (Hybrid 1-2 days office working per week)



Salary: 33,000 - 40,000 DOE

Here at Hitachi Rail, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced

Brand & Design Coordinator

who will report directly to the Global Director of Brand and Marketing. The

Brand & Design Coordinator

will be responsible for the application of our company brand guidelines, working closely with our in-house Design Manager and external agencies, ensuring brand consistency across all business collateral.


The ideal candidate will be dynamic and detail-oriented, who will work closely with the in-house brand and design function to apply global brand guidelines, produce a variety of creative outputs, and promote brand best practices. This role demands a proactive individual with a keen eye for design and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Some core responsibilities will include:


Apply global brand guidelines to all creative projects, ensuring that all creative outputs adhere to established brand standards and licencing guidelines Design and produce a variety of materials, including brochures, PowerPoint presentations, exhibition booth designs, and other marketing collateral as required Work closely with the in-house brand team and global Design Manager to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions Support the brand team in promoting best practices and consistency across all brand touchpoints Manage multiple design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standard Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve designs and outputs, learning from feedback to ensure processes and projects are improved over time Stay updated with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance brand presentation and communication activities Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create marketing promotional materials for the website and social media, or for print use Support the Design Manager with brand application questions and manage all incoming branding questions from internal stakeholders Support with creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders of a high standard using design software and MS Office suite Maintain, develop and manage business relationships with key internal and industry stakeholders, in order to promote Hitachi as a business and employer brand of choice

About you



Proven experience as a Brand Coordinator, Artworker, or similar role within a corporate or agency environment, or within a B2B or B2B2C brand for a minimum of two years High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) - Familiarity with PowerPoint and other presentation software is essential to the role, including macros and template design - Similar template skills for MS Word would be a huge benefit within the role Strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback clearly Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, often with short deadlines across multiple global time zones Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and contribute to a positive work environment. You are fluent in English; a second European language is desirable but not essential You have strong problem-solving skills and are used to working in a fast-paced global matrix organisation You are happy to travel as required specifically to our sites across the UK for branding site visits and for brand installations (5% of the role, international travel is also a possibility for the role if desired) You will be flexible to a growing organisation and adaptable to changing aims & objectives The role location is flexible; however, you will be required to work from our London Global HQ 1 - 2 days per week on average
