To take complete responsibility for some of our Brands trading within the company. Accountable for setting and agreeing budgets and subsequent delivery of financial performance. Drive and motivate the management team by setting clear objectives, ongoing performance management and a high level of communications across the business unit. To deliver profitable brand compliant stores in all Islands. Develop a focused motivated and high performing management team through effective management and strong leadership. Oversee the use of all systems and procedures to ensure all financial controls are followed. To ensure all colleagues comply with all Health & Safety legislation. Help the team ensure correct merchandise is selected.
Key Responsibilities
To form and develop strong and effective relationships with all franchise UK teams and be the conduit for effective and commercial decision making in partnership
Ensure exceptional brand compliance standards are achieved in line with Brand Guidelines whilst remaining commercially focus
Oversee the use of systems and procedures to control financial aspects of the business associated with achieving set Sales, EBITDA, Stock loss, availability and fulfilment and people budget
To actively seek every opportunity to profitably develop the business, whilst optimising cost base
To identify new potential franchise partners suited to the local market place In line with the company's planned growth strategy
To ensure the Merchandising team are selecting the correct catalogue, managing replenishment levels, processing claims, planning promotional activity, completing line level drilling to drive sales and reduce markdown
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Extensive business experience including managing multiple brands
Experience in managing internal and external relationships at a senior level and managing a diverse team of people.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against a business strategy
Must possess a record of accomplishment of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability even in challenging market conditions.
Ability to identify opportunities for new businesses in the local market, suggesting potential partners
