WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?


Creative & Content is the Pentland Centre of Excellence for development and production of best-in-class, creative content. We want to build a content factory that powers Pentland's brands to be the most famous, the most relevant, the most desired and the easiest to purchase. We want to tell beautiful stories about our brilliant brands, stories that bridge between creative communications and creative selling. We need to be 'chefs at the pass' for the brands delivering consistency and coherence across all touchpoints. We will have digital baked into everything we do - we will always start with our consumers and then build ideas around their behaviour.

As the Brand Lead, you will work in brilliant partnership with the Speedo brand team to deliver world-class creativity that drives growth for the brand. You will report into the Head of Operations and work closely with our creative, production and strategy teams.

You'll have experience in aligning brand strategy and creative output, having delivered successful integrated campaigns at different budget scales and be used to working in collaboration with external partners to deliver work along the consumer funnel. You will be the guardian of the brand's output and motivated by making great work.

You'll have great experience at taking projects from briefing to delivery and apply total rigour to all aspects of the role - whether that's timings, budgets, resourcing or execution. We believe that process should liberate creativity. Help us build the right processes that allow that to happen - and make sure we deliver on brief, on time and with great work.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?


As our Brand Lead you will be responsible for:

Be the go-to person for Speedo. Driven, curious, enthusiastic, and determined. Not afraid of hard work. Full of fun and ruthlessly efficient. A problem solver! Build close and effective working partnerships with the Speedo Brand team, fostering trust, building credibility and brand advocacy at the highest level. All in service to delivering the very best work possible. Brand love AND challenge working group - Have the confidence to interrogate briefs and have robust creative conversations. Take ownership of the briefing process. Ensure all creative briefs have sufficient creative and commercial detail to ensure all stakeholders are clear on the objectives for each piece of work, and that briefs are created within agreed time frames to ensure work isa delivered on time. Develop a strategic understanding of the brand and its strategy, their challenges, audience, needs and the environment in which they operate to offer effective creative solutions Work with the project manager to build & manage project timelines that take the team from project briefing to delivery, ensuring all stakeholders are given the opportunity to review and make amendments to any creative in good time to launch dates. Liaise with your project team on project milestones and budgets, regularly updating them on project progression and spend to date Partner with the creative team to make compelling presentations and deliver ideas and strategies to an audience of diverse business and external stakeholders Push for clear feedback and actions; push back when feedback is unclear or inconsistent. Understand what success looks like, ensuring the value and benefits are delivered and measured Build a culture of great not good - drive obsessive curiosity and craft throughout the department. Then champion that throughout the wider organisation. "Chefs at the pass" - Quality control of all the work that leaves C&C and brand guardianship across our brilliant brands, ensuring brand consistency and coherence in everything we produce. Oversee the budgets and ensuring they are effectively tracked. Secure all necessary approvals & sign off prior to release of final assets. Liaise with external agencies to align on goals and timelines when needed. Run project washup and ensure key learnings are taken into future projects Ensure that C&C Operating Model and Content Supply Chain process is adhered to

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?


To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Proven experience of developing campaigns with particular emphasis on digital, including websites, and social - from pre-brief, through strategic development and creative execution. Proven experience of working in creative fast-paced medium-sized (but flat!) organisations, where everyone is hands-on and where the focus is on getting the job done to a consistently brilliant standard Strong creative eye and 'taste' level. Experience: More than 5 years in project management, or client services Tools: Knowledge of project management platforms (e.g. Monday.com)
