As the Brand Manager (maternity cover), you will be entrusted in promoting and safeguarding the corporate brand and marketing function and support the Head of Brand in achieving this. In addition, you will provide support to the brand department in its daily activities.
Primarily, you will work across the parent Dorchester Collection brand, however you will also be required to liaise with all hotels within the collection, including new hotels and residences. In this role, you will be required to communicate with colleagues across all levels of the business.

What you'll do
You'll act as a Brand Guardian, safeguarding and promoting the Dorchester Collection (DC) brand, hotel brands, and marketing function. This involves offering brand guidance, support, and fielding enquiries for internal and external stakeholders.
You'll ensure a positive, consistent, and accurate representation of Dorchester Collection's brand by working closely with various departments, including Communications, Digital, Sales, IT, Finance, People & Culture, Guest Experience, and Strategy.
You'll oversee brand positioning to ensure adherence to brand guidelines across internal and external channels.
Assisting the Head of Brand, you'll contribute to brand campaign management and marketing initiatives, including seasonal activities and food and beverage programs.
You'll manage projects for producing brand-compliant marketing materials and other ad hoc requests, which includes creating briefs, workflows, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines in the project management system. This will also involve sourcing images and liaising with designers, copywriters, hotels, and printers.
You'll coordinate photography and video requirements, including planning and overseeing shoots while liaising with hotels, photographers, and stylists.
Supporting the brand team, you'll help manage workflow within the corporate office and collaborate effectively with designers and copywriters.
You'll assist the Head of Brand and Design Manager with branding projects for Dorchester Collection and its hotels.
Reviewing and approving outsourced third-party marketing content, like travel agent materials and imagery, will be part of your role.
You'll take on special projects as required, working in collaboration with the Head of Brand.
You'll organise the distribution of marketing materials to hotels, liaising with the fulfilment house, suppliers, and hotel teams.
Coordinating the annual festive mailing will involve working closely with hotels and Regional Sales teams.
Translation requests for brand marketing collateral and other needs across key markets will fall under your responsibilities.
You'll conduct market research to support brand marketing projects, including sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes.
You'll help coordinate brand content updates across all marketing platforms, as needed.
Collateral orders within the corporate office and hotels will be managed by you, ensuring all artwork receives brand approval from the Head of Brand.
You'll carry out administrative duties for the Brand function, such as raising and processing invoices, coordinating video conference calls, booking meeting rooms, managing postal mailings, packing boxes, liaising with couriers, and shipping materials both locally and internationally.

What you'll bring
Essential SkillsPrevious experience in a similar role, in a fast moving, dynamic environment in Brand/Marketing, ideally in-house
Knowledge of the requirements of a strong, growing brand and its key target audiences
A strong visual aesthetic and a passion for creativity, from idea generation to implementation
A keen eye for detail, composition, and storytelling
You are able to manage time and projects effectively, meeting deadlines
You are confident to challenge briefs and problem solve
A strong command of both written and spoken English is required
