About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Brand Manager to own and lead the organic social media strategy, CRM and brand tone of voice across our family of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands - TUBBZ, Quarter Arcades, and Numskull.
This pivotal role sits at the intersection of brand identity and organic engagement, ensuring that every social touchpoint delivers consistency, impact, and value. You'll shape how our brands are perceived across all platforms and act as the voice of our community, championing fan engagement and brand resonance.
Key Responsibilities
Organic Social Media Strategy & Execution
? Develop and implement tailored organic social strategies across all D2C brands, aligned with each brand's personality and commercial goals.
? Create monthly social plans, including campaign support, product launches, evergreen content, and seasonal campaigns.
? Execute day-to-day organic posting, ensuring optimal cadence, platform relevance, and quality execution, ensuring platform-specific best practices and content types are followed across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and Reddit.
? Act as the voice of the brand in comments, DMs, and across reactive content opportunities - ensuring timely, witty, and brand-aligned responses.
? Identify opportunities to elevate and showcase user-generated content, testimonials, and community highlights.
? Drive key social KPIs including engagement rate, audience growth, reach, and brand sentiment across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.
Brand & Creative Stewardship Across Channels
? Define and maintain the tone of voice and brand guidelines across all touchpoints, ensuring internal and external teams follow suit.
? Lead quarterly brand audits to ensure all visual and written communications remain on-brand and relevant.
? Provide brand input across CRM, web banners, campaign messaging, and ad creative to ensure consistency.
? Work collaboratively with stakeholders to guide the creative direction for social assets, ensuring alignment with brand tone, platform best practices, and campaign narratives.
? Review and sign off on assets for organic social and ensure brand consistency across all visual communications.
? Own and evolve a clear brand playbook (visual and tone of voice) for each brand.
CRM & Email Marketing Ownership
? Own the full CRM strategy, including campaign planning, automated flows, segmentation, and list growth.
? Oversee execution of newsletters and triggered campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and impact.
? Integrate CRM efforts with social and content plans to maximise omnichannel effectiveness.
? Regularly report on KPIs including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Data & Performance Analytics
? Own the reporting and insights process for all organic social platforms and CRM.
? Track social KPIs including engagement rate, reach, sentiment, follower growth, and community interactions.
? Translate social data into actionable insights to improve strategy, content, and audience targeting.
Team Management
? Lead and develop a cross-functional team including in-house staff, agencies and freelancers.
? Manage day-to-day task flow, timelines, performance check-ins, and ensure collaboration across creative and marketing functions.
Public Relations
? Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan, draft, and distribute press releases that align with the marketing calendar, brand messaging, and strategic priorities.
Blog & SEO Content Management
? Manage our freelance blog writer, ensuring all posts are SEO-optimised, engaging, and on-brand.
? Plan monthly editorial content with the freelance resource in line with marketing campaigns and product launches.
Key Requirements
? Proven experience (5+ years) in brand marketing or social media management, ideally in a consumer, gaming, or pop culture brand.
? Deep understanding of organic content trends across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit and YouTube.
? Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft messages that resonate across a variety of tones.
? Analytical mindset, confident in using social data to refine direction and report performance.
? Creative eye and a passion for great visual storytelling.
? Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside content creators, designers, and marketing teams.
? Experience managing a creative and marketing team with strong project management skills.
? Strong grasp of CRM strategy, campaign logic, and marketing automation tools.
? Enthusiastic about geek culture, collectables, fandoms, and internet communities.
Bonus Skills
? Experience with community management platforms (e.g., Discord, Reddit).
? Graphic design or video editing literacy.
? Experience working across multiple brands or within a brand house.
