We're looking for a strategic, creative and hands-on Marketing & Brand Manager to take ownership of our brand and lead our marketing activities across both HR Star and our MD's personal brand. You'll work closely with the Founder & MD to elevate our visibility, drive quality leads, and position HR Star as a stand-out people-first HR consultancy.
This role is perfect for someone who's excited by the challenge of owning the full marketing mix from strategy to execution and who's confident managing personal brand content, thought leadership and lead generation in a fast-paced, purpose-driven business.
What you'll be doing
Strategy & Planning
Own and evolve the marketing strategy for HR Star and the MD's personal brand
Build and implement lead generation campaigns that attract our ideal clients across key sectors (agencies, professional services, scale-ups, care, visitor attractions etc.)
Translate our business vision into clear, targeted messaging across all channels
Identify trends, audience insights, and competitor activity to shape marketing activity
Own the marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns align with product launches, key dates and business priorities
Brand & Content Development
Develop, protect and grow the HR Star brand and tone of voice
Manage and grow our MD's personal brand presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, podcast appearances and newsletters
Create high-impact, values-aligned content across digital channels (web, email, social, thought leadership, paid media)
Lead the development of brand materials (e.g., pitch decks, client proposals, one-pagers, case studies, newsletter formats)
Campaign Execution & Reporting
Design and deliver campaigns end-to-end, tracking performance and adapting in real time
Create graphics and digital assets using Canva
Set up tracking, analytics and lead capture tools; regularly report on ROI and lead conversion performance
Produce monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports with insights and recommendations
What we're looking for
Experience
Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Brand Lead or similar in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial or high-growth business
Demonstrated success managing and growing a founder or personal brand alongside a business brand
Track record of planning, implementing and reporting on digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results
Strong content marketing and copy writing skills
Proficient in Canva, social scheduling tools, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and CRM/lead gen tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics)
Skills & Strengths
Confident project manager, able to plan, deliver and adapt campaigns independently
Creative thinker who brings ideas and energy to the table, but also comfortable executing them with pace and precision
Excellent eye for brand, design, and detail
Curious, self-motivated and solution-focused, with a strong sense of ownership
A hands-on, no-ego team player happy to roll up sleeves and make things happen
Able to work flexibly and thrive in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
Bonus if you have:
Experience supporting a B2B service business or consultancy
Knowledge of or interest in HR, culture, leadership, or business growth
Familiarity with lead magnets, newsletter funnels and personal brand content marketing

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
