About the role:
Our brand is bigger than ever, serving over 8 million customers with a global reach that spans 60 countries. To help us continue this growth, we are looking for a Brand Protection Specialist to join our team in London. As the Brand Protection Analyst you will execute the global brand protection strategy as part of the Brand Protection team, reporting to the Head of Brand Protection.
In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting our intellectual property. You will work collaboratively with teams across NEXT, including Legal, Loss Prevention, and Wholesale, as well as external law enforcement and intelligence partners, to combat IP abuse.
You will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding counterfeit products and IP infringements
  • Monitor online and offline channels (e-commerce platforms, social media, marketplaces, retail, distributors) for counterfeit products, trademark infringements, and brand misuse
  • Coordinate enforcement actions such as takedown requests, cease-and-desist letters, and collaboration with external agencies or law enforcement, prepare reports and recommendations
  • Educate internal teams and external partners on brand protection guidelines and best practices.
  • Support development of anti-counterfeiting technologies and authentication tools.
  • Help drive continuous improvements to brand protection processes, tools, and monitoring technologies
  • Assist in developing global and regional brand protection standards
  • Maintain accurate records of research and analysis
  • Address enquiries from Customer Service related to IP matters
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed and necessary
  • Manage domain name registrations, transfers and DNS related tasks

  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, passing on all relevant information needed to take appropriate action
  • Ability to present complex information in a format that is appropriate to the audience

About you:
  • Experience in brand protection, IP enforcement, compliance, fraud investigation
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property laws, e-commerce platforms, digital brand enforcement tools and customs procedures
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in delivering reports and presentations to a high standard
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, merchandising, compliance, legal, and supply chain teams and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to work alone without supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
  • As an individual, you are ambitious and are comfortable taking a high degree of responsibility in your work
  • Capable of working under pressure - adapts rapidly and positively to changing priorities and work demands
  • Foreign language knowledge is highly desirable
