Job Overview



LingerMart is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Branding and Multimedia Designer to support the planning, development, and execution of branding developement across multiple social media platforms and website. This role is key to helping us connect with a diverse range of consumer segments, business audiences, and cultural communities, especially those with an interest in Asian and Taiwanese lifestyle products. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of social media trends, content creation, and audience engagement strategies, and will play an essential role in elevating our brand presence both online and offline.

Key responsibilities



Concept Development:

Liaising with the general managers or account managers to discuss business objectives, requirements, and budgetary constraints.

Visual Identity & Branding:

Developing logos, brand assets, and style guidelines to ensure consistent visual messaging across all customer touchpoints.

Multimedia & Interactive Design:

Creating special visual effects, 3D models, animations (GIFs/videos), and interactive content for social media, film, or web platforms.

Web & Digital Assets:

Designing responsive website layouts, email marketing templates, and mobile app interfaces, often collaborating with technical developers.

Print & Production Management:

Preparing artwork for large-format print, magazines, or packaging; this includes proofreading and managing external print suppliers.

Strategic Planning:

Estimating project timescales, providing cost quotations, and researching competitive trends to innovate within the brief.

Technical Compliance:

Proofreading designs for accuracy and ensuring digital content meets accessibility standards and organizational strategy.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge



Software Mastery

Advanced proficiency in the

Adobe Creative Cloud

(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and often Figma or Adobe XD for digital work.

Design Theory

Deep knowledge of

typography

(kerning, leading), color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.

Technical Design

Ability to produce 2D/3D scale drawings, hand-sketched mock-ups, and layouts ready for both digital and physical production.

Digital Fluency

Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and basic understanding of HTML/CSS for web-integrated roles.

Communication

Strong verbal and presentation skills to "pitch" ideas, negotiate briefs, and explain design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Professionalism

Exceptional time management and the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Educational and Evidence Requirements



Qualifications:

Most sponsors in 2025 require a

Bachelor's degree

(NQF Level 6) or equivalent in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or Fine Arts.

Portfolio:

A comprehensive digital portfolio is mandatory for the visa application to prove you possess the "unique contribution" skills required for the UK creative market.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-36,000.00 per year
