Job Description

About Osdire

Osdire is an innovative online marketplace connecting freelancers (e.g., designers, developers) with businesses, offering a user-friendly alternative to platforms like Fiverr. With a talented team of developers and designers, we are seeking a dynamic Social Media and Content Marketer to drive brand awareness and user engagement.

Role Overview

As the Social Media and Content Marketer, you will be responsible for building Osdire's brand presence and attracting freelancers and buyers through compelling social media campaigns and content. You'll manage influencer and YouTuber partnerships to amplify reach, reporting to the Marketing Manager and collaborating with the Digital Marketing Specialist, Email Marketing Specialist, and our development/design teams to align campaigns with Osdire's launch goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter/X to attract freelancers and businesses, driving traffic and sign-ups. Create engaging content (e.g., posts, videos, infographics) showcasing Osdire's benefits (e.g., intuitive UX, competitive pricing), collaborating with our UX/UI team for visuals. Identify and manage micro-influencer and YouTuber partnerships in freelancing/tech niches, negotiating collaborations and ensuring brand-consistent content. Engage online communities (e.g., Twitter/X, freelancing groups) to generate buzz and foster a sense of community around Osdire. Produce content such as blogs and case studies (e.g., "How Osdire Helps Freelancers Succeed") to build trust and encourage platform usage. Track campaign performance using tools like Hootsuite and Google Analytics, reporting weekly to the Marketing Manager. Optimise social media and influencer campaigns based on data (e.g., shift focus to high-performing platforms like Instagram). Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to align social media with PPC/SEO efforts and with the Email Marketing Specialist to repurpose content for email campaigns. Work with our Laravel, Vue.js, Flutter, and UX/UI teams to ensure content reflects platform features and branding.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation, ideally in tech startups or e-commerce/marketplace platforms. Proven success managing social media campaigns and influencer partnerships. Proficiency in tools like Hootsuite, Canva, and Google Analytics for campaign management and tracking. Strong content creation skills (e.g., writing blogs, producing videos, designing visuals). Ability to engage online communities and build brand presence in a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability. UK-based or authorised to work in the UK.
