Summary

We are currently seeking a Driver to join our friendly team at APEX RECOVERY LTD in West Bromwich. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual with strong communication skills who can handle public interactions, especially in difficult circumstances. You will be part of a 24-hour service team, working various shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles with a 7.5t license or above to transport goods and provide recovery services. Communicate effectively with members of the public, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Perform vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in loading and unloading vehicles as necessary during operations. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on duty.

Requirements

Valid 7.5t / Class 2 driving license is required. Good mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the public. Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
