Job Description

Superstars Activity Club Ltd Run before / after school and and holiday clubs for primary school age children and we are looking for a 'Club Leader / Manager' for a 12 month duration to work in our clubs in the LE12 and LE11 areas.

We are looking for a friendly, caring and professional person who can help care for the children and help make the club a fun and secure place to be, working with our existing team who are experienced at the club.

The position offered is a term time only role working 07:25-08:55 and 14:45-18:00 Monday to Friday, there are also some options to split those hours if the right staff can be found as a job share too, please enquire for details.

Free childcare is also offered to any staff with primary school age children who attend the club too. The pay rate is 13.50 hour for the manager role and there are 6 weeks of paid holiday per year included in the annual wage (although this has to be taken during the school holiday period when the school is closed as this post is a term time only position). Further opportunities for additional hours and/or overtime may be available during school holidays too and ongoing training and development opportunities will be also offered.

Experience in childcare of 2 years minimum is essential and any applicant will need to hold a level 3 in childcare, playwork (or equivalent), being up to date paediatric first aid and safeguarding training is an advantage too, but training updates will be provided as required to the successful applicant. Any position offered to the successful applicant will be subject to a probationary period, satisfactory references and the receipt of a DBS criminal background check completed by us.
