Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development while fostering positive relationships with both the children and their families.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Manage daily routines including school runs, play activities, and homework etc Maintain cleanliness and organisation our afterschool rooms, ensuring it is safe for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Setting up and providing age appropriate activities for the children in your care. be enthusiastic and take control of stories, songs, games, art and craft etc

Skills

Strong background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Experience working with children in a day nursery or afterschool club similar setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour. Leadership qualities to guide children positively during activities. Capability to drive (if required) with a valid driver's licence. A genuine love for childcare and commitment to fostering children's growth.
