The role / duties:
As Breakfast and housekeeping assistant your time will be split between 2 departments. 2 days covering breakfast duties and 3 days covering housekeeping duties.
Breakfast Duties:
Basic food preparation - Preparing continental room service breakfast.
Deliver breakfast to guest bedrooms
Replenishing and cleaning in room minibars
Stock control.
Daily cleaning of kitchen and other service / welfare areas.
Ensuring compliance food hygiene and health and safety legislation and with hotel operating procedures.
Housekeeping Duties:
Cleaning and presentation of guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
Cleaning and presentation of public areas.
Assisting in other areas of the housekeeping department.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and with hotel operating procedures.
Skills:
We are looking for someone with a broad range of skills and experience that should include;
Social confidence. You must be able to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
A genuine passion for customer service.
Pride in your personal appearance.
The ability to multitask and the drive to see things completed with the required attention to detail.
Be a team player, ready and willing to assist your colleagues in all departments.
