Breakfast/ Brunch Chef Assistant
Job Description
Cafe 445 is a new addition to Coventry, we are an independent cafe and are are currently looking for a creative and passionate chef assistant to join our team.
Our cafe offers an English & Asian (halal)breakfast menu, coffee, tea, cakes and a delicious brunch menu.
You will be responsible for helping prepare quality dishes with the head chef for our customers to enjoy, as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the food preparation areas.
We have lots of exciting plans for the opening so our ideal candidate is someone who will bring some fresh ideas to Cafe 455 to help develop our future menu.
*Passion for cooking fresh quality food is necessary
*Experience with various kitchen equipment is necessary
*Ability to communicate effectively with team members
*Able to work at pace and multi task where necessary
*Able to adhere to company standards and follow legal guidelines for Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
*Ability to work under pressure
*Must be a great team player with great customer service skills.
Preferably: have experience with cooking of Asian dishes
Must be flexible and available weekends
