Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to optimise team performance
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service and customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management to enhance culinary offerings
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
Ensure all food served meets the organisation's quality standards and consistency
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and hospitality settings
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Experience in restaurant or similar high-volume food service environments
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development
Previous experience serving customers directly or managing front-of-house activities is advantageous
